(my scanner positively destroyed the shading on this! *stupid machine, smacks scanner*)
A random wolf I sketched during math class. It's not completely finished, there are some things I need to fix still, and I'm going to color it and give it a real background. I know the background really sucks at the moment, I am completely aware of it and there is no need to remind me it sucks. I just drew the background really fast because I knew I wouldn't keep that background.
I'm am not saying this is perfect, I know it has problems and I appreciate normal tasetful critisisms. I am not excepting rude, cruel remarks. If I wanted you to insult me and hurt my fealings I would have set it on Advance Critique Encouraged. I did not set it on that. So don't be a jerk to me, ok?
I am not saying I am the greatest wolf artist ever, I am not saying this is the best way to draw wolves, or the most realistic. But it is my style of drawing them If you have a problem with it, keep your oppinion to yourself. I know the anatomy and shape isn't the greatest, but I never said it was. And this is not completely finished anyways.
You're right, it's not perfect, but it is still very good. I like what you've done with the shading and the texture of the fur and your anatomy is pretty good too.
Looks great! really -just the moving back paw looks a bit unfinished.
But the fur and the rest are just great!
Did you use a refference?
I also scribble around during class! more fun!
Wouldn´t change the background that much.. It fits-> cold winter with empty trees
Thanks! I'm still going to keep basically the same type of background, just make a more finished version though. I did use a referance for the first sketch, but then shaded it and added the fur and stuff from memory. And I changed the position a little from the referance photo.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
