He is very sweet, although has absolutely no training. XD
Trimming his hooves today was a wrestling match, my Dad had to get Hank in a headlock before the little guy would stand to let the ferrier trim him.

We actually bought him from the guy we buy our hay from. I was really surprised at what bad condition Hank was in, because his previous owner is a pretty knowledgeable horse person and from what I've seen of his horses and cattle I thought he took pretty good care of his animals.
He just didn't seem to realize that the donkey needed the same sort of care and attention as horses do. It was really strange.

Hank is in a good hands now though.
Now that he has his hooves back to a comfortable length and has been wormed he should start looking pretty nice once he puts on a little weight.
